Very nice campus with good infrastructure
Nice teachers as well study opputunities offered
Good coding culture available and good and decent clubs engaged in various fests

Dislikes

You cant go outside of campus in 1st semester also you can go outside after 1st sem but too much restrictions
Too much competition due to too much strength of students

I am pretty much intereseted in it Student to teacher ratio is around 1:10 Faculty is very nice all of them are PHd Teaching method is also good . They have nice experience of teaching as well as research Exams are also good level , medium level

I believe it happens after 6th semester Not sure about these questions as i am in 1st year highest package is 1 crore average package is 9.5L 100% placment rate claimed by college I want job afterr getting the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees hike policy same fees for all 4 years Cost of study is pretty high relatively to other colleges espacially if you are in higher categories I do not have any scholarship I am not sure about campus jobs for now

Campus Life

There are 2 fests conducted in an year Vibrance and technvit Infrastructure is all good and all necessary sports and amenities are available There is a 2 floor library with sufficient amount of books and pcs football, cricket , basketball all kinds of sports are available you can think of is available but you might have to pay extra to play some sports There are a lot of clubs available in college,more than 60 clubs

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is sufficient with all the necessary things available It has wifi, bunker bed ,common bathroom and washroom, study table, cupboard, racks, cooler 2bed , 4 bed , 6bed ac and non ac rooms are available There is also an guest house situated inside campus Registrtion for hostel happens online according to availability of rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

We give viteeee exam and then according to your rank you get your category there are 5 categories of admission You can find viteee exam details online you need more than 60% to able to give viteee exam

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
