College management sometimes required some improvement. But if we ignore the management things then no doubt the college is best.
Entrance Preview
I took JEE Mains 2015 for the admission in Engineering and Technology. I did my admission through DTE Maharashtra Cap Process. I had a low score in mains 60, at that score this was the only B.Tech(autonomous) college which was having chances of my selection.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exactly the curriculum is based on courses like IITs. The institute is currently funded by world bank project TEQUIP phase 3 of 7 crores for research purported of students as well as faculties. So that the fundings are enough in the college. The contribution of students is also required. so that the results will be positive.
Internships Opportunities
For some branches like food technology or chemical technology. College helps us to find an internship but more onwards it becomes our job to find desired company and convey to college, then college does the remaining procedure.
College Events
All the traditional as well special days are celebrated in the college. The main attraction is Shiv Jayanti. After that traditional day, colors day, mismatch day all are celebrated. All wildlife week and related days also celebrated. Annual Social Gathering (Symphony) is the biggest fair of DOT(Department of Technology)
Campus Life
The gender ratio is almost equal in college. The difference or communication gap between boys and girls is reducing day by day. There are annual sports occur in college each year. Along with for players there are lead college or zonal level competition also happened. Each year TechFest also takes place.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are so cooperative. They are like elder brother/sisters. In all academic as well as in nonacademic seniors always helps us.
Exam Structure
It was very chilled here. Exam pattern is divided into international accepted credit system. CIE,IPE,EPE and SEE by all these methods your evaluation takes place in throughout the semester. CIE that is the cumulative internal evaluation. 2 unit test of 25 marks each carried out in a sem.
Admission
First of all , take the Engineering admission kit from ARC center. Then, after the display of merit list fill the option form for CAP 1. Put Department of Technology, Shivaji University, Kolhapur DTE code 6028 as your first option with your desired branch.
Faculty
Knowledgeable as well as student friendly. Here, Program Coordinator, assistant professor, lecturer, visiting lecturer, lab assistant likewise faculties are present. All are highly qualified, having lots of experience of teaching. The faculties have publications of journal and research paper also on there names.
