Course Curriculum Overview
the institute location is neare to my hometown and according my score i was eligible for the course of electronics and telecommunication engineering in government college of engineering amravati, thus i chose the course. About 80%of the faculty members are on permanent basis with more than 20 years of experiance in the teachhing field. Exams are conducted very promptly , for each semester a mid semester exam and an end semster examination is conducted at the end of each semester in the institute.
Placement Experience
the institute provides placements to students as per inatutute's 'one student one company' policy. so as to ensure every student would get placed. students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. the highest on campus placement package was 16Lpa. with average package of 4.5 Lpa. After completing my degree iam planning to apper for the GATE exam and try for the best on campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
fees for open category candidates is 83000 per year, with relaxation for reserved categories. there is hostel facility for 1st and 2nd year students only and rest sudents resides near institute location in rented houses. Students reciding in rented houses have to spend upto 5000 per month. for reserved category students gets about half of the fees money as financial assistance from the state government on MahaDBT portal at https://mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in
Campus Life
The central india's largest technical festival "prajwalan" is organised in the college. students from various institutes participates in the various activitites organised during the tech fest.The annual fest of the college is named as Zenith. multiple cultural activities are organised in the institute campus during the 2 day long annual fest, students as well as faculties participate in the activities.
Admission
A common entrance test is conducted by state common entrance test cell, government of maharashtra. And based on students performance in the exam a student gets admission in a particular course in the renowned institutes of the state. the closing cutoff of my branch in my college was about 90.63.
