Amazing for academics!

College management is good as far as you don't indulge in any sort of problem then u feel the college management is bad. Apart from that the college management and their mode of function is very very efficient and you barely find any mistakes and that yes ok all is good.

The entrance exam I took part is SRMJEE-2016 . I scored the overall rank of 30,507 . I opted for this college because it is within the city and easily accessible and the infrastructure is very good . From a known senior I got a very good impression about Srm .

The course structure is basically all the basics of engg. Till date. There are some advanced elective subjects available too. Subjects such as nanotechnology, internet of things, and some programming languages such as scilab, vhdl are also taught. Which are quite interesting

No my college doesn't provide internship. For Internship purpose you have to go out to external sources depending on your curriculum you have to do mandatory 1 or 2 internship to add to ur resume for the final year!. Which is quite interesting and great experience

As well as the placement are concerned the records have been tremendous as more people were placed on a single day . Things like that keeps happening in Srm . So if u perform well and meet the required criteria. I think getting placed shouldn't be a very big problem and concern for u .

There are many many events happening in Srm . One such highlight is the Milan happening ! One of the biggest cultural fest happening in India and there is also a rush a very big and grand technical fest happening every year and apart from these there are small small events happening regularly

The fees structure is quite expensive compared to other colleges. As they receive more than 2 lakhs per annum which are quite heavy compared to other engineering colleges across the state but I think if one utilizes the opportunity available at Srm. This fee is worthy as it has air-conditioning classrooms and other good facilities.

Good number of scholarship are available at Srm at various categories such as minorities, for top cgpa etc. If one meets the required criteria. Getting scholarship is easy .

There is some opportunities for extracurricular activities but not very much! The main focus is on technologies clubs such as iet and ieee which focus on creating better engineers and providing them more opportunities as they progress through the careers.

Hostel is quite bad in Srm vadapalani. First of all hostel is not located in college campus . U have to travel and the food is not up to the mark as the rooms are quite okay! But the food after 2-3 month become very boring there is no innovation in cooking .

I don't know about the alumni network but the senior students are very helpful as they give their experience and try to guide as also .. in that part they are very helpful.

There are two cycle tests held between every semester. The first cycle test accounts for 15% of the internals and the second accounts for 25 %! And apart from these .. 10% accounts for surprise test and quiz. So as far as exams are concerned the first cycle test seems a bit nice but with the second cycle test and the lab practical and the semester exams seem a bit hectic.

It's simple, I passed the entrance exam . Received the rank list , based on it a counselling schedule was allotted. And based on the availability of course I got admitted. But u have to keep on checking the list which keeps on filling everyday!. If the required course is vacant on the time of admission . There is no hassle.

The quality of teaching is very good. Can't say anything bad about that. And also efficiency is not always ????. So here and there there might be some loopholes , but overall the faculty is knowledgeable to the curriculum extent. I don't know whether everyone are trying to be in pace with the current trend and technology.
