Course Curriculum Overview
I choose civil because of my particular intrest in it Civil is a good branch of IIEST.it has a good female to male ratio because of seat reserved for girls all the facilities are highly qualified and good knowledge of his her field.exams are always in time and very strict no unfair means are allowed and administration is very strict in all means
Placement Experience
From 7 semester they become eligible for placements almost all top companies visit the campus for placements and PPO are also given almost in every branch above 85 percentage is placement rate except civil which is 83 this year . I have plans for civil engineering private field and join a construction company and work there and build beautiful building
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is very low as compared to other nits and very affordable for people with income less than 1 lakh they provide full tution fee waiver.scholar ship opportunities are also available of different types especially for girls and SCs .campus placement are good according to its cost of study there
Campus Life
Rebeca is the annual fest of IIIEST it is one of the best fest of nits and very much enjoyable for students and mood freshner for students.Library is not that big but enough books are there to study and also place to study is ok.class rooms are non AC in summer it's very hard to study but not all classes are non AC .all the co curricular activities are available for you to take part in it. For photography,for debate,for cricket all teams are there and NCC is also there so you can take part if you need to take part in further civil services it will be a strong point for further and will maintain your fitness for all 4 years
Hostel Facilities
In hostel you have badminton, volleyball, cricket,table tennis carrom board.in hostel you get only 3 meals which are mixed not that bad but some days food is not that good many local don't get hostel remember this.i have been alloted hostel 8 which has very friendly behaviour of staff and all cooks it's like a home
Admission
You have to qualify jee mains and secure rank in general category below 60K to take admission in this college for mining branch and further the ranks keep getting better and under 18 K for CSE .you can fill jee mains form from NTA website the exam will be objective and all India based and reservations are applicable during form fill up of during counselling process Exams are generally conducted during January and April in a year 2 times the exam is conducted.If reservation is applicable the the cutoff rank increases singnificantly and easy to get college of your choice after declaration of jee mains if u qualify for jee advanced best of luck and try for IITs if your advance rank is not up to college of your choice then if you want nits fill the counselling online from nta site redirect to josaa and fill your choices and if u get your seat fill the 44000 seat acceptance fee and at last counselling phase 6 if your choice upgraded then congratulations fill 32000 and join NIT you alloted
