It is a decent college with fairly well opportunities for learning and over all development.

There was no entrance examination for entrance, as the admissions are based on Class 12th Boards result merit. I scored 88.4% in my boards and got selected in the 3rd list of the admission for B.com for outstation students. I opted for this college because it met my requirements in terms of competitiveness, curriculum and faculty quality. Location and surroundings of the college also played an important role. Alumni, classroom infrastructure, library and other facilities were also a source of inclination.

There is an internship cell which provides ample opportunities for students to keep themselves busy learning key aspects of business and corporate life. There are other clubs, societies and events like entrepreneurship development cell, advertising and marketing fest, entrepreneurship fairs etc to develop such skills and the students.

Placement opportunities are fairly well given the nature of the course. Top scorers and top rank holders have gotten placements of upto INR 10 lakhs in packages. But it all depends on how well an individual uses the opportunities. For better placements though, students need to equip themselves with skills and prowess of their respective areas. Communication skills, leadership, organizing, social, marketing skills and all such qualifications really play an important role in securing a placement in a reputed company.

There are events going on on the college everyday. One can find something or the other coming up everyday. Events are something which are crucial to the college life. There are learning as well as socializing opportunities available through these events and fests. The main fest of Mithibai is called Kshitij, it lasts for around 4 days and is organised around december every year.

The college fee is very affordable. It ranges from 6000 per year to 20000 per year in various courses. Although the tuition in college is low, the city is not as affordable. living expenses per person can go to 30000 per month minimum. But the cost is justified. There is so much going on on-campus and off-campus as well, a student can find him/her doing something productive all day.

There are no scholarships available for general students. Though, there are many concessions and discounts and such facilities available for reserved castes students and minorities.

Gender ratio seems to be fairly equal with a healthy learning atmosphere all around. There is a diversity in students in terms of culture. Students from different parts of the country come together. There are no parties on-campus as there is no on-campus housing facility, but the events and fests that run all year long are more than enough for a lit college and cultural life.

There is no accomodation provided by the college per se, There is an accommodation facility by the trust and other neighboring colleges which is also provided to mithbai students if needed and available. There are many PG and hostel facilities near the college and around 1 km radius and farther too.

The alumni, though popular and in diverse fields, there is scope for a better connection and networking facilities in the corporate network.

There are two semester every year and the course is divided accordingly. Two semesters are held in November and April respectively. There are 7 subjects per semester. The subjects remain constant for a given year. There are few subjects which remain constant throughout the course, like accountancy and economics.

The admission process for Mithibai is pretty easy and simplified. Although it might require one to physically present oneself to submit the documents and forms, it takes merely an hour to fulfil the formalities. The applicant is required to fill a pre-admission for with details and documents online. When selected for application, the student will have to fill the post admission form along with necessary documents and details. There has to prepared a demand draft with the fee amount as the college does not accept cheques or cash or any other mode of payment.

The faculty is strictly trained and is very well acquainted with their subjects. Teachers show interest towards the students participation in each subject and try to indulge them in the subject matter. E.G. Accountancy is taught by either certified CAs or Ph.D. holders in the subject. Same goes for other subjects as well.
