Likes
- Students here cine from different regions of India and hence crowd here is very diverse.
- Campus life is so good. Buildings, lawns, grounds and auditorium every infrastructure is perfect.
- Faculty here is very supportive, mainly our principal she is very sweet and students like her.
Dislikes
- Politics at Ramjas is a matter of concern.
- Ramjas is known for fights based on casteism.
- The timings of our college do not change in winters. It is very difficult to wake up early for 8:30 class.
Course Curriculum Overview
Having interest in maths from school, I opted maths hons for graduation. Faculty here is very good, actually they are professors having PhD and some pursuing PhD so the their conceptual knowledge is amazing and hence students are fully satisfied here. We have semester based exams and it's difficulty level is moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our course fees is not that much high. Since I am pursuing BSC hons in maths so annual charges are approx 14-15k. Also there are scholarships for reserved categories. Although general candidates suffer but there are provisions for EWS category too.
Campus Life
Since my college is located in North campus and north campus has its own vibe. In the month of January and February we see fest season and students of every college of Delhi University are invited. Every college has its own library and apart from that there are central libraries too which has a huge collection of books.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities provided by hostel are very good. Menu of the meal provided by mess is decided by the students itself. There is mess committee which look after the meal. Also rooms here are spacious and we are provided with study table also. Everything is so perfect and hence the fees is also high.
Admission
We had to fill a form that was released by University of Delhi. Our admission was based on merit calculated from our class 12th percentage, considering the best 4 subjects. There was no entrance exam, we had to just submit our form and after that cutoffs were released for each courses. Different colleges have different cutoffs, we had to take admission in college where we were eligible(i.e. where our merit meet the cutoff). There were almost 6 cutoffs and 1-2 special cutoffs also.
