Remarks

Overall college is good There is average management and good campus life here. Sometimes your HOD will be able to help you and interaction between faculty and students pretty good, I think this place best for worth students

Entrance Preview

None. No entrance exams were undertaken by me. My admission was purely on Board results. There are no interview rounds as such for the selection.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

MDU syllabus and exams are purely based on your mugging up capacity. The college will make sure that they cover up at least 50-60% of the syllabus properly and the rest will be students responsibility to cover. the overall course structure is awesome and it helps us to improve all technical abilities regarding this course.

Placement Experience

1

Nil. Not worth it. The companies called in are mostly for CSE/IT. Please don't a college placement if you want to pursue B.Tech from Civil or Mechanical or Electronics. Also, don't expect a core job which will have a high salary package. You have to be the best in your field to achieve something and to find a good package and company.

College Events

3

The freshers are usually celebrated after the first sessionals are done through. There are regular (both free and paid) workshops on different technologies. Also, we have organized industrial visits for different branches. In every even semester, we have a cultural festival "Zenith". And the week preceding it is a sports week (both on and off the field).

Fee Structure And Facilities

Depends. The semester fees change every year but stay constant for the current batch. For example, if your first semester fees are 45K, then you will have to pay 45K until your final sem. And in the next year suppose the semester fees falls or rises for the fresh batch, it will only be implemented for them and not on the previous batches.

Fees and Financial Aid

None. The only criteria for scholarship that they have at the time when you join the college, i.e, the better your board percentage (above 80%) is, the higher is your scholarship. In order to avail further scholarships, you have to maintain your board percentage or any score higher to it.

Campus Life

3

campus life is good enough but You need to be strong to survive this place. It's not easy and you need to be extremely diligent if you want to survive this place for the whole year until the semester break which is after the even semesters. Labs are good but only have limited access i.e, only during the lab classes. Its a safe environment for girls as no harassment is done here.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Both AC & Non AC rooms available. The AC room's rent which is 94K for a whole year is exclusive of the AC charges. The AC rooms have a meter and its absolute bullshit. Plus the hostel fees need to be paid in the odd semester which is insane else they will not allow you to sit for the university exam. Basically, it's a process where the college could pool out money from students in all possible ways.

Alumni/Alumna

It is always hard to find good seniors. But if you get in the right network, then its an added advantage as they will always show their juniors the right path. There is no Alumni Network as such and the only possible way to connect with them is through social media.

Exam Structure

Within the second month of every semester, you will be having your 1'st sessional exam and in the next two weeks, the 2'nd sessional exam which will basically be a mock to see how students have deposited their fees for the next semester. As soon as the 2'nd sessionals are done through, either you will have your external practical datesheet which will be conducted 10 days before the semester exams begin. Or it is also possible that the university or external practicals are conducted after the semester exams are down through. Now for the semester exams... it has a duration of almost 2/2.5 weeks and the pressure is at its peak on students because in every semester there is at least one subject which has a tough question paper with no repeated questions from the past year.

Admission

I got admitted after my board results were declared. I had filled in their application form and mailed it to them. Basically, if u want an admission, you need to pay the token money (which will be a part of the semester fee) of whatever amount to book your seat or confirm your registration.

Faculty

3.5

HoD's for every department are either Ph.D. graduates or at least possess M.Tech from IIT or have a long teaching experience after M.Tech. The teachers also have a minimum qualification of M.Tech. Some of the teachers do make sure that students get to learn more and more of the concepts of the subjects from them while some teachers make an interesting subject look like a mountain and hence scaring the students with their poor set of skills.

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
