The DU Story.

I chose this course as Maths was my interest from the very beginning and I had very strong concept knowledge of it. Faculty in the college is very good. Teachers take care of all the queries of students. Faculty is to student ratio is quite good. There are around 8-10 teachers alloted to Maths Hons. Faculty is highly qualified and their teaching method is also very good. They take you through concepts and then also make sure to practice questions. Exams were scheduled in gaps lesser than usual so as to cover the delay caused by Covid year. Exams were moderate level and if you have basic knowledge about the subject then you can pass it easily.

Fees was around 7 thousand for the first year and then 10 thousand for second year. For the third year it was 12 thousand. Its very minimal as compared to other colleges. Doing your graduation under 30k is very good deal. There were many scholarships for students having family income less than 2,3 lakhs. They were provided with many financial assistance. There are also some campus placements but they were very less for my course.

There were almost all types of books available in the college library. For all the courses, books were available in abundance and library is quite big so you can go and spend time there. There were Ac and fans in some rooms. Practical rooms were very good with updated laptops. All type of Sports were being played in the college and college had their Sports team also. There were many different societies and clubs for students to join.

Eligibility of the course was Marks above in the range of 90 or 90+ percentage in 12th class. Application was easily available on Delhi University official website and it was very accessible to create your own profile. There were reservation benefits available for different categories such as Obc, SC, St and Ews. There was also special reservation for Army defence wards termed as Cw category. A little bit of improvement can be done when allotting colleges could be made more clear.
