Likes

The atmosphere of the college is pretty good.
Very good library facilities (spacious, air conditioned )
Pretty good food in canteen. Even south indian foods are also good.

Dislikes

Personally i felt the fees are little bit hike because it is all for the infrastructure and maintenance.
And the labs are not that much developed.
They are always changing the infrastructure of the college. So i little bit annoying

Course Curriculum Overview

°Im interested in science. And I wanted to explore chemistry more. °It is around 2:5.Quite good amout of teachers are there of various subjects. °All are Phd holders, and have experience in IIT, ISER. °Exams are conducted timely and not that much difficulty to pass. Sometime the'll set the exams with Juniors.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Internships Opportunities

°Different IIT'S are providing internship °The science club will give the opportunity for the internship. °Stipend is based on the intership still it is around 10 k per month. °Different projects are there for the personal development.

°We can apply for the placement from the first year as well. But interviews will be at the last. °Mainly Bcg, Deloitte, Ernst abd young, Kpmg, Pwc, sp jain, etc °Highest pack is 24 Lpa °Almost 8-9 °My plan is go for pg.

Fees and Financial Aid

°Fees - around 20 k.Comparatively less than the other collegs in Delhi university. °Cost of study is normally less. °Financial aid, is one of the scholarship that college provides. Which is based on the cgpa in first year. °There is a placement cell in ramjas for dealing placements and all °Normally it is activated after the graduation °One of my senior in chemistry got a job through placement.

°Ramjas is conducting a lot of fest day by day. °The annual fest will be at june - july period. °Library facilitied are very good to deal. °A very large library set up with free wifi and air conditioned. °Most of the books are available in thr library. We can issue books for 4-5 days through our id card. °Classrooms are also very conditioned. °Most of the all sports are there in our college. We can try for time pass and also be a part of college team for various sports through selection level. °So many active social groups are there in ramjas. Nss, is one of among them.

°Pcm in +2. °The whole application process was through the official website of University of Delhi. °The application form is available in the site. °Application fees, and application dates vary according to the college, year and the course. °My admission was merit based (Cut off 98% in +2)

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

The admission process of the college is through Cuet ug admission examination, I had applied to other top colleges of The University of Delhi including Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, St. Stephen's College and Hansraj College, However my score was best suited for Ramjas and I was allocated this college during counseling process. For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
