Remarks

Overall my experience was good, if you remain honest with the rules and regulations you won't find anything negative about the institution.

Entrance Preview

I applied for MHT-CET and scored 120/200 . I opted for this institute bcoz I heard it was one of the best in mumbai

Course Curriculum Overview

3

They have a regular weekly test conducted, practical sessions and internals. Assignments are given for every subject. They are also very strict about the attendance of the students. It has to be minimum 50 percent, notes are provided by the college and is very helpful during exams. Lots of events and social activities also takes place in the institute. Vidyalankar is known for its event named many Marathi which indulges about the maharashtrian culture.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college does provide good placement facilities. At the final year they provide you a placement for to fill. They also help you in grooming session for the interview. Lots of Mnc's come to this college for placement with attractive salary packages.

Placement Experience

3.5

Companies like L&T,wipro , caogemini, TCS , Tech mahindra and lots of other companies arrive for placement opportunities with attractive salary packages.Minimum salary for a BE degree pass out is 3 lpa . for training the company provides its best education. You have to give three rounds of interview to crack the job interview.

College Events

4.5

Lots of events and social activities also takes place in the institute. Vidyalankar is known for its event named maay Marathi which indulges about the maharashtrian culture. They also conduct science conventions once a year where students can show case their skills in scientific field.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is too high because it is a private college. Fees can be paid through cash, check, DD or installments. People with lower caste have some benefit in fee structure. Overall if u can afford the fees it is quite feasible and you also get provided healthy knowledge in return on the high fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provide 50% benefit for our students who have received scholarships. They also provide some benefit for lower caste students. There is no loan facility provided by the institution, but they guide you for education loan

Campus Life

4

Campus is the best and very pleasing. They make sure that it is clean everyday. This college also conducts a lot of social activities and events. Some students find their hidden talent and showcase it. They also conduct science conventions once a year where students can show case their skills in scientific field.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Our college doesn't provide hostel facilities, they don't allow you to stay in the campus after the college hours. Regarding the food ,canteen in vsit is very nice, the food taste great and is also affordable. We also have CCD and two another canteen in VIT. Food is also nice over there too.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very good of this college, the seniors take initiative in all the social events and functions that takes place inside the campus.

Exam Structure

Vidyalankar follows Mumbai university exam structure so there are 2 main exams in 4 years including weekly tests, practical exams ,internals . You get an advance notice about the exams and a frequent time for preparing the exams. Exams fees are collected during the initial admission fees.

Admission

At first you have to visit the campus and buy the brochure worth 500rs, then you pay your admission fees after orientation. You can pay the fees via check, cash or demand draft or in installments. The cutoff is too low for admission so its not that difficult to get admission in that college

Faculty

3

Faculty is OK as it comes to regular attending students. They also conduct extra lectures before the exams and are helpful towards the project and assignments. They are also very helpful in practical sessions and gives a lot of assignments to complete. During exams they conduct revisions and tests.
