Vit Chennai reality

I choose electronic and computer engineering because I wanted to learn coding and about electronic as well because I have interest in both. Faculty is good but not that much good ... some are having great knowledge with experience but some are timepass. Faculty student ratio is good they have appropriate number of teachers. Faculty is qualified but not every teacher some are less qualified also and teaching method depends on faculty but according to me they don't know how to teach a college student that's why we need to take help of YouTube. Exam is on time they took exam in proper interval and passing exam is average if we study we'll get pass but some question paper are extremely hard like of eee ... maximum student got failed in that.

From 7th semester students are available for campus placements. Intel, eBay, Amazon, Dell, GE, Texas Instruments, Schneider Electric, DE Shaw & Co, Hitachi, HP, PayPal, Tata Motors, L&T, Dr. Are the companies that visited in vit Chennai and 4,375 offers were given . Highest package was 75 lacks and offered by paypal and average package is 8.19 lpa. Approx 70% student get placed every year. I will take a placement and after some years with having money I'll start entrepreneurship.

Fees structure is given on internet but I'll tell you which is not to take ...fees is extremely high as compared to placement and facilities they provide. If you are taking cse core then 3 category is ok apart from that any branch of cse with ecm only deserves till 2nd category. And other lower branches deserve only 1st category. I didn't get any scholarship or financial assistance from them. And I didn't got any job or stipend also.

Name of annual fest is vibrance and it is conducted in March and tech fest is techno vit which is conducted in October. Book and generals are generally available in library. Amenities in class needs to be improved ... communication barrier sometimes happen while talking to anyone or teacher too. Sports facilities are good but they are not very much keen in supporting sports students ... they just provide equipments and we play only .... and extra curricular activites are not good because they even closed yoga room and not opening and we don't know the reason why. All the clubs are run by students like Android club, web development club and etc.

Room is provided with an almirah, bookshelf, table, chair and bed ... i am in 6 bed ac so room is pretty big and it is ok . Meal quality is good but they should add green vegetables in menu.. because they provide spicy and oily food. Registration process is online and student can also register for hostel offline after going to campus as I did and hostel is costly because of ac and non ac is also costly.

Eligibility of the college was to pass 12 with aggregate of 55% and in each subject also. Application form is available on official website of vit, application fees was 1300 when I filled the form and application date was from December to April. No reservation is available in this college. Yes they should tell the marks we scored .... they only told us rank.
