Good college for engineering

College management is very good and supportive. College offers free medical facilities to every student. It as complete Wi-Fi campus,24 hours electricity supply ,good hostels.

I got admission through COMEDK quota by scoring 18000 rank in it. I heard about this college earlier and also saw its advertisement in magazines.

As the college is affiliated by VTU so the same curriculum is followed as that of VTU. It is good as scoring is a bit easy as compared to other VTU colleges. In the first year of BE, it is compulsory to study all the subjects. It is divided into two semesters. First runs from August to December and second from January to May.

As being first-year students I don't have much idea of an internship. But I heard that college offers internships during summer.

Many companies Visit college like sony, dell, TCS, global etc. Highest package offered is around 12lac this year. While TCS is the mass recruiting company which generally offers 3.5 lac offers. CSE and ISE departments have good placement records as compared to other departments.

Every year the college conducts two main events named mas Fiesta in the month of October - November and another event named as Insignia in the month of March. First ever is basically intra college event while the second one is inter college event. Insignia is a grand event in which famous singers are called every year for concerts.

College takes admission through CET which has fees according to the government quota which is nearly around 50k per annum, while for COMEDK quota the college fees are 170000 per annum. You have to pay the lab and exam fees at the time of admission which is around 20k for two semesters.

I don't have much idea about the scholarships. But CET students get scholarships. Defense quota scholarships are also there.

Campus life is good as college has a very big ground within its campus. It has basketball ground, badminton court, volleyball courts, cricket ground, table tennis and gym. The gender ratio is around 60-40 males and females respectively. College also conducts several workshops and competitions. Overall campus life is above average.

The hostel is too good as compared to other colleges. It is very cheap accommodation fees is around 20-25k and mess charge is also around 20-25k. Mess offers veg foods only. the Hostel has 24 hours medical facilities, water facilities, and electricity supply.

The college organises alumni meet where we get to see the old successful pass-out. Seniors are very good and supportive. They are very friendly and always ready to help.

There are two semesters in a year. Each semester consists of three internal exams of which score of best two are considered.The internal exam has 50% weightage in overall result calculations. For another 50% sem end exam of 100 marks is conducted. College timings is not too hectic for students. One can easily enjoy.

First step to get admission is verification of rank card at banglore where you will receive the allotment letter of the college. Then you have to submit that letter in the college, fill the college form and deposit the fees. You have to deposit the fee for one year including mess and hostel charges at a time during registration.

This college has many good faculty and some are above average. It is like a mixed lot. But one can't complain about the teaching as compared to other colleges. The faculty is too supportive and well qualified. They are available daily from 8 to 5 to clarify doubts.
