Remarks

College days was quite good, interactive, enjoyable and of learning nature. college management was very good.

Escorts, mollins of india, honda, maruti etc.Stipend offered was 3500/- per month in internship.

Same as above maximum package offered was 9 lacs in those times.

College Events

North india engineering college cultural program in this event sll the north indian engineering colleges student's participate. mejor event in which more than 1000 students use to participate.

Campus Life

Campus life was quite enjoyable and comfortable.Mess food was very good and cooks were also very cooperative. Girls & boys hostels are located separately.Since the college is under sgpc, preference was given to sikhism but harmony among students was good.

Hostel Facilities

First 2 years are on sharing basis but the rooms are quite big. Next two years hostels are of dormitory type and are quite comfortable in case of pg room. rentals are approx. 3000 per month in those days.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are quite introverts and interaction was very minimal. There was no such program of mutual interaction. But faculty was of excellent nature.

Exam Structure

Semester system. Labs are quite good and are learning place for budding engineers.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

From the 6 semester you will be eligible for the placement drive. Many companies visited LPU for recruitment and some of them are MNCs also The highest package is 1 crore from my batch and average is 7LPA. Around 90 to 95 % get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college . The admission here was from 2 rounds of open counseling and I got admission in 2 nd round. The cutoff for my course was about 85%. There was no such exam as entrance exam .
