The college library is a very calm place to sit and study.

The infrastructure at KMC, DU is quite average
The food at the college canteen is also average, although the pricing is very student friendly, yet the taste of the food is average only

I chose this course because I have keen interest in Accountancy and Finance and opting B. COM Hons has helped me excell in both the fields. Talking about our faculty at Kirori Mal, the department of commerce at KMC is one of the best. The faculty members are highly efficient.

The placement cell, Avenues at KMC, provides various internship opportunities from renowned companies. The intersnhip opportunities include both paid and unpaid. Such opportunities help one build relevant skills and boost their CV.

Placement Experience

After the completion of 4th sem, the students are eligible for placements. Delloite, LEK, Sprinklr, Accenture, De Shaw, Zs etc.. are some if the companies that came for campus recruitment this year. I am not sure, but ig 20-25 LPA has been the highest package offered.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is struture is very decent and is affordable. The college offers various scolarship programs as per the universuty guidelines. The website is regularly updated about any such notices. Talking about the fee hikes, there was literally no fees hike. To my surprise the fees decreased from 1st year to my 2nd year. I paid some 13500 in my first year, and in my second year ut was 12800 something.

Campus Life

The annual has not been conducted in KMC since a very long time and that is maybe the only thing I don't like. However, we now have a SU, hopefully we will have our own fest in 2024. The library has been newly constructed and the journals and newspapers are readily available. KMC has a very effecient society culture. There are a lot of clubs one can join and enhance their skills.

Admission

The admission process was quite easy. Kirori Mal College was my 9th preference. I applied for B. COM( Hons) and had a CUET Score of 774/800. For B. COM (HONS) it was necessary to have one of the following two subjects: 1. Accountancy 2. Mathematics

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

MY COLLEGE LIFE

Main exam was CUET. We should crack it with high marks... More than 98 percentile to get into the prestigious north campus of Delhi University. My college KMC comes under north campus and I'm really happy. I chose this college because it is one of the best for my course. It ranked 3rd in whole india for political science. I wanted it admission process is easy. After cuet results are published u have to fill csas portal. And you can see your rank and college allotted in the first round. The. Document verification. Afte that you will get gmail from the college and university. Cut off is almost 99 percentile in north campus. It's really difficult to get in. For humanities and commerce students choose DU.
