- There's nothing to dislike at du because no other undergraduate University will give you the experience and exposure that DU gives.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I wanted to do a proffesional course. Although the faculty is not that great, with ratio 3:60. The teachers are well qualified with PHD degrees but the teaching method of some teachers is honestly not up to the mark. BBE papers are actually tough because they ask a lot of real world problems with practical solutions and it's not lengthy generally.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of internship opportunities, literally every 3rd day there's a new internship opportunity, although most of them are for free but it's good experience wise. It would be a lot better if we had some good stipend internships at college
Placement Experience
3rd sem students are eligible for placements. The top 4 companies followed by Accenture, tresvista, WTW, DE Shaw, and a lot of startups visit our college and the offers made are decent. With highest package of 23lpa and average of 4 lpa. Although I'm not aware of the percentage but anybody who sits for placement with decent preparation fo get placed for sure. My plans are to worl for 3 -4 years
Fees and Financial Aid
The course is a bit costly ranging between 41000-44000, financial assistance are provided to students whose family income is less than 2-3 lakh. The placements are good with highest package of 23lpa from our course, Anybody who sits for placement will definetly get one.
Campus Life
Campus is buzzed with events and fests happening every other day with annual fest names reverie conducted in feb-mar. I have not been to library a lot but I guess our library is good enough to find books of all types. The classroom is not up to the mark, they are small and conjusted with outdated lights and fans. Socities at Gargi are very active I'm part of the dance society of my college we are among top 3 socities in DU.
Admission
I took DUJAT exam for admission in BBE and BBA courses at Delhi University, the eligibility criteria to appear in the exam is that you need to have maths in your 12th, application form is available in DU website with fee around 1000. I applied through OBC and the cut offs were not that high for OBC. We had basic questions with not very high Competition, it has decent competition.
