My Gargi Review

i would rate it 8/10. in my opinion, it could include more practical exposure for students rather than focusing just on theoretical part. although the core subjects cover most part including the relevant theory and sec and vac subjects add to the interests of the students.

the placement cell actively posts internships for students on whatsapp groups, with and without stipend. the roles vary across different domains and u can apply for whatever role interests you. i have personlly applied to many of them, but u need to clear further gd/pi rounds depending on the JD provided by the company.

it has limited on campus placement opportunities, especially for commerce courses. its more known for arts department. thus, we dont solely rely on campus placements, most pursue professional courses or go for higher education.

the annual fee for bcom program at gargi college is aorund 18k per annum so total fees for the course adds upto 53000 for 3 years. the fees includes all facilities and services except the exam fee which is to be paid separately for semester wise exams and varies for every subject. there is no significant increase in the fees across the years and is mostly stable.

my personal experience with campus life has been great, it matters from person to person , how involved one really is. there are 15-17 clubs/societies to join, allowing u to upskill , network with peers, compete and get exposure. the infrastructure is decent, new academic block is great, library can be improved a bit.

one of the reasons for preferring gargi was becausse its a girls college, and i personally wanted to go into a girls college and get that experience since i come from a co-ed school. and i really love the environment here. moreover, the locality of our college is pretty nice compared to other off campus colleges. yes, i couldnt make it to more prestigious colleges because my cuet score was not meeting the cutoff but now i have no regrets.

faculty to student ratio is around 1:50. most of the teachers are experienced and approachable.they are supportive. the course structure is well-designed including core subjects as well as skill enhancement and ability enhancement subjects.the exams are conducted semester-wise, 2 semesters each year. the results are provided during the next semester in the form of gpa.

our college closes at 5:30 since theres no hostel facility provided to students, so no night life here. but around our campus its chill, not like u hangout late at night but its fine, decent. not that happening.
