Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

chose this course due to its aligning curriculum with my career goals, offering a comprehensive blend of theory and practical application. The faculty-to-student ratio is commendable, fostering personalized interactions and a conducive learning environment. Professors, highly qualified in their respective fields, bring diverse expertise to the classroom. The teaching methods are innovative, integrating real-world scenarios for practical understanding. Regular interactions and open discussions enhance the learning experience. The timely conduct of term exams demonstrates organizational efficiency. However, the difficulty level varies, presenting a fair challenge that encourages critical thinking. The faculty's qualifications are impressive, with many holding advanced degrees and industry experience. Their dedication to student success is evident in their approachable demeanor and willingness to provide guidance beyond the curriculum. Terms exams not held yet

Avenues, the placement cell of Kirori Mal College, is a robust gateway to diverse internship opportunities for all years. Students secure internships with notable companies, where roles span from marketing to research, offering competitive stipends. Engaging projects, such as developing market strategies, ensure hands-on learning. The outcomes showcase the practical skills gained during internships, fostering holistic development. Avenues' proactive approach to internships enriches students' academic journey, preparing them for the dynamic professional landscape. A commendable effort that deserves a solid 4.5 out of 5.

Placement Experience

4

At Kirori Mal College, placements kick in from the 5th semester. Renowned companies like EY and Deloitte, etc.visited, offering diverse roles. The highest package touched an impressive figure, and the average package showcased the college's commitment to student success. An excellent number of students secured placements, reflecting the college's strong industry connections. Personally, post-degree, I plan to delve into a dynamic industry role. Kirori Mal College excels in placements, connecting students with top-tier companies. The high placement percentage and diverse job opportunities earn it a well-deserved 4.5 out of 5.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of the program is competitive, reflecting the quality of education and resources provided. While there is a nominal annual hike policy, it ensures a steady investment in academic excellence and infrastructure development. The institution is proactive in offering scholarship opportunities, financial assistance, and on-campus jobs to alleviate the financial burden on students. The scholarship program, named after visionary leaders, is merit-based, recognizing academic achievements and contributions to the community. Additionally, financial assistance programs cater to students facing economic challenges, ensuring inclusivity and equal access to education. On-campus jobs provide valuable work experience along with financial support. I secured a role as a research assistant, contributing to ongoing projects while earning a stipend. This not only assisted financially but also enriched my academic journey.

Campus Life

3

Life on campus is vibrant, with an annual cultural fest, bringing the community together. There also many tech fests in showcases innovation. The library is well-equipped, offering an extensive collection of books and journals. Classrooms are modern, equipped with audio-visual amenities. Sports facilities and extracurricular activities thrive, promoting holistic development. Social groups and clubs, like the environmental awareness club "Bhoomi," foster community engagement. In a rare drawback, some classrooms lack proper ventilation, impacting the overall comfort. Overall, the campus exudes vibrancy and opportunities, earning a solid 4 out of 5.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

In my rented accommodation, the facilities include a spacious room with essential furniture. Meals, provided by a local catering service, are nutritious with a diverse menu. The hostel registration process was seamless, and the affordability factor is reasonable. The locality, being central, offers convenience. The overall hostel or rented accommodation experience has been very good. The room facilities and quality of meals exceed expectations, making it a comfortable and affordable living arrangement. A solid 5 out of 5 for an excellent overall experience.

Admission

The announcement of news in their college site is little in the downside and it is pretty easy to miss important information sometimes. The infrastructure also need to be improved. All the information related to admission process is shown in college site including hostel allocation form etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
