Remarks

College aims at studies only and not over all development of students. If you are good in studies then only go or else your life will be hell.

Entrance Preview

I gave IIT jee entrance and I got 78 marks which made out to be 86 %ile... N my 12th % was 91. Total came out to be 89%ile due to which I got in this college from Minority Quota. Mechanical was the evergreen field to choose.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Since I am from the mechanical branch I loved this course because I had interest in Automobile and working on big technical projects. But Mumbai university is teaching us 1980s curriculum n has no relevance in today's updated version of technology So I would prefer to try iit our other best institute because Mumbai university is will make you fill assignment and exams. U won't learn anything quality from the curriculum

Internships Opportunities

No. Our college doesn't assist in any such. In fact, if you go for the internship for a longer time they will cry over providing attendance to you and will make you write assignments to compensate your attendance shortage

Placement Experience

3

For computers, it's too good. Average for rest of the branch. But the disaster in case of mechanical and they have shitty rules of not allowing students to sit if they are placed. They just want to improve their number. For this year the placement officer is useless

College Events

3.5

They have 2 college fest in a year. One is faces in the odd semester and Betamax in even semester. If Angels is a curse then these fests are the boon for you since you will enjoy 3 days. But the drawback is they have attended for this too. There are various technical events too such as torque, robowar etc which happens during the fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is OK. Since that fees structure you will find in every Mumbai university College. In case you are in caste you will save a lot of money since caste has 15k to 35k fees. Rest all around 1.2 lakhs per year.. Though college have college hostel whose fees is high and food quality is shit

Fees and Financial Aid

No, our college ask for money every now and then they have lot of money but won't sponsor anyone neither they will help.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is Terrible when it comes to curriculum but fest and all are nice if you are interested then only in extra curricular and all. Gender ratio is different for different branch like Mechanical has only 1:15 girl:boy ratio while It has 3:2 girl:boy ratio. Over all 60:40 Boy:girl ration

Alumni/Alumna

Yes people are very helpful. Seniors send their projects which we show to our professor. They guide you and help during fest too.

Exam Structure

Exams are tiring since they have assignments test and reassignment test. Also, they have prelims and prelims and will make you cry if you are weak in studies and won't sign your term work By the end of a semester. Labs are good and teach well but the machines aren't updated. Since new building is constructed they have few good machines rest all are useless and you won't learn anything since today's machines are many advances.

Admission

Give the entrance IIT jee or Mh-cet accordingly u will get ur score in percentile then according to the norms of Mumbai university fill the online form. 1st, 2nd and 3rd cut off list will come out based on your score you will be alloted a college. You have to go and take admission there with all required documents mentioned by the college.

Faculty

2

My college faculty is good but very few are genius rest all are Bad teachers. Their method of teaching is pathetic and will force you to write 100s of assignments if you fail in any class test. They just believe in screwing students and making them actually learn the curriculum

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
