- 1. The best thing is affordability of the college but excluding the residential costs if you did not get admitted to hostel than about minimum of 8000 per month have to be spent.
- 2. Second thing is the flexibility,culture & diversity that my college offers to it's students.
- 3. Third one is the qualified teachers of the college
Dislikes
- Time table there's no classes as in the school times there are 1-2 hours of gap between many classes so students have to wait in the college campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
1. The course of good but in my opinion the syllabus is very vast and is to be Completed in about 4 months in each semester due to whuch the quality of studies are affected. 2. The curriculum is good enough & dynamic. 3. Most of the teachers are well qualified from JNU or DU itself with PHD degrees. 4. Passing the exams is not that tough but also requires effort.
Placement Experience
I haven't much experience about placements of my college but as per my best knowledge, the placement is good enough for the following courses - Bachelor of Commerce Bachelor of Economics Statistics Hons. Maths Hons. Some of the other science courses
Fees and Financial Aid
- In 1st year my Course fee i.e. (Bcom Hons.) for general category was about 13,500. - In 2nd year It is 12,870. Note - You have to spend about ? 1,500 for filling up the examination form before each semester exams. So effective yearly fee for bcom hons. General category is about 13000 + 1500 + 1500 = 16,000. - All the Students should applying for the NSP scholarship as all Students receive about 12000/year during 3/4 years of graduation.
Campus Life
- The social life at college is good enough there's a lot flexibility given to the students. But talking about fest, Their are not much fest compared to other DU colleges. - Almost every book is available in the college library which can be borrowed without any late fines/penalities. (On library card, late fee is only written for formality) On ground level no late fee is charged feom students.
Hostel Facilities
- I'm also a KMC Hostel resident & from my experience I can say KMCH is one of the best & affordable hostels in Delhi University. - The seniors are also supportive enough. - Their is 0% of ragging of bullying even sometime junior's tease their seniorz in KMC Hostel.. - The meal includes veg/non veg on daily basis excluding Tuesday (You get a Restaurant kind of Dinner in KMCH)
Admission
The admission process for cuet exam is as follows - 1. Register for cuet exam on cuet.samarth.ac.in 2. Select preferred universities and courses. 3. Carefully select the subject combinations needed for taking admission in proffered course. IMO - Refer Youtube tutorial for better understanding. The cutoff marks of bcom Hons. in Kirorimal College is about 770-775 out of 800 without any reservation benefits.
