Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Mechanical engineering with electric vehicle because it's upcoming technology and number of professional for this industry are very less . Most of the faculty are PhD and did there masters All of the faculty members are highly knowledgeable and they take care about students performance Every month they are having exams and it is pretty easy to pass

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement Overall campus placement is very good and average is around 9lpa TCS Cognizant HCL and many more tech giants visit our college Highest package was 1.2 cr

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 5 fees categories starting with 1 it is having minimum tution fees and with the increasing category fees also increases There are various scholarships which are offered on the basis of the student performance in board exams and student performance in VITEE

Campus Life

Life at campus is very vibrant. We are having technovit which is our technical event and riveria which is our cultural event. Technovit is conducted in November whereas riveria is conducted in May . We are having huge library where you can easily issue a book We are having huge grounds and space for almost every sport like football and basketball There are various clubs and social group which grooms skill set of students

Hostel Facilities

There are 4 boys hostel and one girls hostel We are having bunker beds with an almirah study table and chair There are 2,4,6 sharing rooms Food quality is very good and there are every type of food like both north and south Indian food You can easily register for hostel through the VITEE site or by manually at campus

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

I took VITEE exam which is an entrance exam to secure admission in VIT Vellore,VIT Chennai, VIT Bhopal and VIT Amravati colleges. Eligibility for the course is 12th passed with recognised board and 60% aggregate marks in 12th Boards . You can find application form in VIT website and there you can find information regarding VITEE . Overall admission process is very smooth but just one improvement that they can provide more time to students for deciding wether they have to take admission in VIT or not

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
