Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of my dream to be an pharmacist. And the faculty members of our college is so good and very helpful. Basically they are carried phd degree or masters degree. To pass the exam is not hard.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structures are not same for every student. Those who ranked very well they got admission under tfw cota and their fees is very low according to all students. And the others have a fees of medium level.

Campus Life

Every year annual fest is conducted by the 3rd years senior students. Besides tgere are some farewell and samne freshers program also. besides these annual sports with various types of international sports are there.

Admission

We have to gi west bengal joint entrance exam or jee main all over india. After that we have to rank well all oover in India or west Bengal. After getting the results of these exam we have to sit for counseling...after that I got admission

Placement Experience:

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Remarks:

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.

I have applied for institute of genetic engineering for the same course BSc genetics but I to admission in Guru Nanak institute of pharmaceutical sciences because they are the only other colleges in West Bengal who provides BSc genetics as their course and I choose this college because this is under GIS group and this is well known in West Bengal. I did not get any rejection from the other colleges I applied.
