Great place for people who opt to become successful but is a great hell for people who don't try.My overall experience is just freaking awesome.The most wonderful part of our college is that they give us our liberty so that we could put our complete effort in doing a task.I am thankful for my parents for joining me in such a wonderful college. The time filled with anticipation,anxiety and wonderful discoveries.Its my wonderful world of higher education.It has endless nights of studying,writing,chitchatting,watching movies.I enjoyed my newfound freedom to the utmost and looking for a great year ahead.

I wrote the entrance exam SRMJEE and got into this esteemed university.I visited the campus,saw the infrastructure and high-end research in the campus loved it and the freedom here is like something that anyone would have never experienced. I was always passionate about chemistry and chemical engineering and here it is great.

The course is obviously great but the practical part is a bit debatable.I chose chemical engineering as it is my passion.There are many research initiatives being taken on behalf of our university and I am currently enrolled in a research project and there is a humongous list of electives being provided by our college.

I don't know about everyone but my faculty are sending me to NIT trichy and IIT Guwahati for research internship. The industrial training is given in 4th year.The experience is just beyond the words and i like the encouragement being provided by the faculty for us to see in a successful position.The average stipend amount is around ten thousand per month.

Almost 100 %get placed. You must only be worried if u have 10 arrears and a very bad record. Apart from the percentage the packages are pretty bad.It is nearly thirty thousand per month for a fresher and it is too bad in a metro city companies.It varies every year but we have a record of great companies coming but not taking students.

Woooh this part of SRM is unbeatable we have technical Aaruush cultural Milan fresher's Shuru ,Jhalak, Khel and so on.... Almost every weekend we have a road show. It is India's largest technical fest ya clg funds these fests well

It is definitely not low but it is equal to the fees paid by many of the private universities and now even IIT's and NIT's fee itself is two lakh fifteen thousand per year.There are even management seats available.The fees paid by us is two lakh thirty thousand.We have scholarship facilities also if we secure top mark in the entrance exam.

We have scholarships but u need to be in the cream. Loan is pretty easy here institute helps in the same .

Yes u have lots of opportunities but one should make sure one doesn't end up in bewilderedness

Hostel is a hostel it no where comes near the comforts of one's home but still it is a different experience it makes one absolutely ready for any grieve circumstances one might encounter in upcoming years of life. They were relatively better than other institute's hostel and food was not so good but food in hostel would never get one illness hostel costs u a whopping 1lack a year it is too very costly for a non AC hostel.

Ya this part is great and boring we have lots of alumini meetings. Alumini even sponsor departmental fests .

Labs are the best part it's like watching a movie in Imax after u read the story in a book. Exams is definitely a stress factor in any institute.

Like every coin has two sides our college also has a mixed proportion of faculty.Apart from their skills in teaching everyone is a Ph.D holder and many are engaged in research projects. Interaction is definitely great in chemical engineering as student to faculty ratio is great. Methodology is a bit outdated.The standard of teaching is extraordinary
