Course Curriculum Overview

I chose B.com I alreaddy preapred my mind for it and now it is going as per my expectation. The ratio of faculty : student ratio is difficult to explain but it is roughly around , but we can say there is arounf 5 teachers for per 100 students. Faculties were quite educated and reputated in the society and hold the masters degree in there requestion teaching feild, ther treraching style is also quite innovative they try to solve the problems of the students. Exams were conducted timely when the college is autonomous but now when the autonomy is not there the exams is delayed and the question paper is also moderate.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is the least in the state as much I know and there is no as such fike hike policy, we can say that cost to study is cheap which help various students to learn and grow. I don,t enjoy any benefits of scholarships as I am a general student , in Indian society general students don,t get any scholarship in colleges, where other students ehich doesn,t belong to general category enjoy the benefits of scholarship through various medium , One of the renowned medium is E-kalyan.

Campus Life

There is no as duch annual fest or tech fest conducted by the college faculty however students takes this initiative by themselve to organize the fest. The library is rich with the resources and every subject related books are available in the library , so the Library is good. Thers is no amenities in the classrom. College conduct sports meet and extracurricular activities on the campus and also have own college team that competes in various sports meet conducted by other universities and colleges. I don't know as such social groups.

Admission

The admission process is smooth, I joined the college before the CUET era , we don't have to give any entrance test and the admission is taken on the basis of 10th and 12th marks so it is quite good. Only we have to fill an application form along with the application fees so that is a simple process. I would like to suggest to improve the admission portal beacause that is quite laggy and it doesn't work sometimes.

The improvements can be done in the course curriculum and teaching methods that infuse real-life examples and also practical Questions and practical Situations to make student Corporate ready And you have to do an industrial visit so that students can know How Real life Actual Company works.

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.
