Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for bsc biotechnology course we are fifty students in a class and we had 9 faculty members all are well .the qualification of the faculty members is very good the HOD and other two faculty has their PhD and rest are completed msc so on.the teaching and practical knowledge of the faculty is very good they treated us very nicely all are good We actually had total 6 semisters all the semesters we dint felt any difficulty to pass

Many companies gave us opportunities to learn a new things they taught us jobs they provided is very nice stipend also Cancer treatment trought microbiology and and project were there I dint remember them

From 5th and 6th semester students get eligible for campus placements The companies which are visited are Wipro Infosys Mahindra ola ather maruti suzuki biocon etc The least package is 3.5lakh per annum Highest is 12lack per annum I am searching best colleges to do msc in biotechnology

There is no any fees hike for us there is no any fees hike policy they will inform u when they will hike the fees Acctuly I got ssp and raitha vidyanidhi scholarship which are provided by the state Karnataka government.i don't attended any campus interviews with stipend sorry

In this college many fests and annual programs are conducted and they give opportunity to cultural activities also This college has best library in that city there is wide range of book and journals was there Classroom are built with very nice benches and every classroom has smartboard features Many sports and extracurricular activities on the campus has been done Students won't run any social grps

Room is provided with the cuat and a bed and attached toilet and bathroom and every student is that room is provided with study tables and washing machines Hot water facility was also there Meal quality was awesome Registration process of hostel is a simple process jus u hv to fill simple form Daneshwari nagar vidyagiri dharwad

Admission

Admission process was not very hard they took one enterence exam and they valuated it after I selected the the course I got application form from the office I dint get any reservation bcz I am from general .I don't want any improvement from them it's already good

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
