Remarks
One good point about college is that there is no ragging.One more point to highlight that is there is not only technical activities here but students also enjoy cultural activities here like dance, music etc.. Overall experience is good here as you learn a lot about on campus which you can't learn at home.
Entrance Preview
One can get an entry in this college through a national level exam JEE Mains. I got to know about this college from my friend who resides in Chandigarh and then I applied here. No there was no interview process here.I was interested in learning about robots so I took this course.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's a nice course as learning electronics is a lot to learn about technology. As to get good in robotics you should be handy with basics of electronics which is the future of the world. Practical is a lot here in various societies like IEEE, Robotics. Research initiatives are taken here by experienced faculty members with the help of students who come here to pursue their degree in M.E./M.Tech.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college do provide an internship which is the best part as in 3rd year a student gain experience, develop skills, make connections, strengthen their resumes, learn about a field, and assess their interest and abilities. Till now when I ask seniors they said the experience was good here.The average stipend for ECE branch is around Rs25,000 and for CSE is Rs35,000.major companies visit here are Amazon, Arcesium, Maruti Suzuki etc.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario is good here as pec is a brand name almost 80% of students got placed here Major companies of electronics that visit here are Sandisk, Texas Instruments etc Average package is around 7 lacks and it is around 9 lacks for CSE which got almost 95% placed in very good companies.Even consultancies visit here like JP Morgan
Fee Structure And Facilities
As Pec is a government college its fee structure is totally affordable for almost every student. In the first semester the figure was around Rs70,000 and after that it is around Rs50,000 The hostel fees is around Rs53,000 per year which is totally affordable I think according to the city like chandigarh which is one of the best cities in india.

Teachers here are very much qualified as they also have to pass throught test and interviews here.The senior teachers here are too much intelligent and upcoming new teachers are also very enthusiastic and interactive.The teachers here motivate students to be interactive in the class discussions which help in overall development of a student.The standard of teaching I feel is good that's why Pec is a good college.
