Remarks

The good thing is our college is they focus on everything and encouraged us for new things. The bad thing is they should be development on sports . My overall experience is very good in college.The college teach me a lot of things, the main thing is how to represent myself to others and not only focus on study also tech us about outer things like sports behavior etc.

Entrance Preview

I cleared my wbut joint entrance exam from which I got this college. There was no any interview process. They took me from my rank which I got in wbut entrance exam. I keep interest from the starting on computer which helps me to choose the course of computer science.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the subject on my interest which is computer science. In this field a lot of things to learn and to work on it . Now a days 95% of the human only depend on computers. In this field we can develop and create new things for our future only from a practical learning. Our institute takes participate on many things and also make a unique thing which is create energy from our walk and also won on it.

Internships Opportunities

College doesn't provide any internship. It only depends on placement .

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is good. 80%of the students got placed in a very well companies. Many top IT companies are visited the campus like TCS, WIPRO, SAP, AMAZON,IBM etc. The average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum.

Many technical and cultural programs are organised in college like Ecell , NSS, Fest etc. In fest many stars are come.

It was affordable for me because I gave only 2000 per semester.

Hostel Facilities

No I am not residing in hostel. But in my college there is very good hostel to stay. There is also single room and guest house as well. Only 25000 they take charges for hostel. Food is awesome . Everything they provide in food to students.

Exam Structure

College takes two internal exams which helps us to give semester exam. The internal exam reduce our stress of semester exam from which we feel tireless before the semester exam.

Faculty

The faculty of our colleges is much more helpful and determinate. Some did M.SC and some did Phd . They are not so much experienced but all are cooperate with students very well and also have good knowledge of course with outer world.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
