My overall experience in the college is very good with experienced faculties,co-operative management,cultural fests,playground and encouraging of college to take part in the extra curricular activities,students here are very well disciplined as this is the college of dharmashala and there is anti ragging policy too. Very good infrastructure,many experienced faculties,co-operative management , well equipped labs,playground,greenery and many more opportunity for students.

I wrote kcet entrance exam and got a rank 7261 and thus i landed in this college as the college is awesome and also it's situated in my hometown just 20 minutes away from my home.I took admission E&C engineering as i am interested in electronics & communication fro my childhood and want to make career in the research field of electronics & communication.

The course curriculum is very good, college follows the guidelines of visvesvaraya technological university, Belagavi and college always focuses on interactive & practical learning ,faculties always teach us by giving examples of real world so that students can learn the subjects from basics and could excel in the subjects.

Approx all the students are provided with internship opportunities in the college, the companies comes in campus to hire interns and most of the students do their internships in bengaluru,average stipend provided to students is approx 20 thousand to 25 thousand rupees per month to a student,students from core branches also gets placements.

The placement scenario in college is pretty good,Approx 75-80% of students get placed with an average package of 4.25 lakhs to 5.25 lakhs ,however some students also gets offer more than that of 10 lakhs ,this year 8 students of cse & ise got offers of more than 10 lakhs,highest package offered to any student was 13.87 lakhs this year.

There are many cultural fests and tech fests in our college.Insignia is one of them,every year any star comes to sdmcet to perform in the events ,fiesta is also there, dramatics group are there in college such as pratibimb,antharanga,avatar etc dance groups like tashan etc are there,overall the college experiences good series of events.

As i am kcet student i am filling approx 19 thousand fees per year,however the fees varies on exam given,students who gave comedk exam have to fill fees approx 1 lakh 70 thousand and management quota students have to fill fees approx 2 lakhs 50 thousand per year,in kcet too the fee depends on students category either he/she is sc,st or obc or of some other category as per the KEA guidelines.

Yes scholarship and loans are provided to students as per the guidelines of the Karnataka state government & central government.

I am not residing in hostel but the rooms are provided on sharing basis, a room is shared by 3 students and food served in mess is also good.

Examinations here are taken in a semester wise pattern also there are three internal examinations in a semester to keep students active.

The college have very well experienced faculties who are experienced minimum of 4-5 years, many faculties are there who are experienced more than that of 20 years ,Faculties believe in interactive and practical learning which is the best part about the college. we are also provided hand on activities to learn the topics well.
