Remarks
It's a good college, with an all-round availability of resources. the college is located on the outskirts of the city Mangalore in Karnataka. Near the shores of a beach named panambur beach. Usually students chill out in the evenings going to the beaches and spending their valuable time to overcome their stress or any problems in their life.
Entrance Preview
JEE MAINS. JoSAA took care of online counselling. NITs and IITs had common counselling. Firstly i wrote the JEE common exam after that i did well and got shortlisted for the JEE mains and again i did well and further i carried out with the selection process of the colleges and finally i ended up getting NITK [national institute of technology karnataka]. No there was no interview process.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is good. Covers a variety of topics which is required for an engineering student. There is a lots of focus on practical learning and we almost spend most of the times in the labs we have different labs for different branches. There are lots of elective options in nitk which makes this college a place where engineers from different field to come under one roof.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, most of the third years are given an internship through the college, this gives an opportunity for the students before they are graduated they get enough hands-on experience, which makes a person ready for the industries to work on.Experience is good during the interships, some of the seniors have got a stipend amount of around 5000-8000INR
Placement Experience
Placements are going well,. We usually get a very good placement in our college some of the companies like ebay, networking sites domain, infosys, hp, dell, shipping etc; The average package is around 10lakhs but it again depends on the company which can come for the placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities
I had my entry to this college through JEE mains as mentioned above and my fees is 35,000INR per semester along with the tuition fees. Mess fees amounted to 12,000 per semester which makes a total of 94,000INR for one year including tuition and mess. Apart from this we spend some money for the workshops which will be conducted in our campus from different departments.

we have lots of extracurricular activities in our college if you are talented in one field this college always gives you a platform to excel in your field.
Faculty
Since NITK is a highly famous prestigious and highly rated college in India the faculties here are Pretty qualified. Most of the profs are PhD graduates. We rarely have young faculties in our college because only the experienced faculties are taken in and they do they best for the students to convey their knowledge.
