I choose the course mainly due to the reputation of IITs and having good placement package of IIT BHU. Here you find many opportunities to grow and learn in every field. Students to faculty ratio is around something 50 :1 . The faculties are highly educated here some senior phd professors who have years of teaching experience and some are mtech assistant proffers. They are very keen towards their teaching. Exam are being held in alternate months of the semester. Generally there is 4 month semester where you have to gave two exam mid semester and end semester. Exam are little bit tough here but you will manage if you are in IIT and smart enough to handle things.

There are many opportunities for internships if you are in technical branches. I got internship in Samsung Bangalore in developer role for the upcoming summer. Stipend is 50k/month which is good enough i guess.

Students becames eligible for placement after 6th semester. You can find almost every big companies visited here like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Sprinkler and many more and they hire in good numbers. In 2023 the highest package goes at 1.68 cr in NK securities. The average package is around 14 LPA and almost 80% students were placed.

There is fee remission for the lower income families like every IIT. You have to gave zero tution fees if your family income is under 1 lakh per annum or you have to gave 33% of tution fees if your family income is under 5 lakh per annum. There is many opportunities for internships in 3rd year specially if you are in techinal or upper branches. Campus placement is very good of IIT BHU , nearly 90% students placed every year and some opt for higher studies.

Yeah , IIT BHU campus is old but life is good here you make good friends here ragging free environment and supportive seniors. Campus is large enough good surrounded by trees and sports grounds where you can enjoy and follow your interests. IIT BHU conducts its annual fest Kashiyatra in January, its a 3 day event in which many cultural programs are going on whole day and star and dj nights where you can see the famous singers singing in your campus. There are many clubs and activities run by students including cultural clubs ,sports clubs, literature clubs, tech clubs where you can explore many things .

Yeah many hostels of IIT BHU was very old and not that much good they are small too. They make rooms for single person where you to share with your roommate. Although they are making new hostels too which are far better than old ones . Mess food was good in IIT BHU but you will get bored soon as the menu remains gonna same every week.

To take admission in the IIT BHU, you first have to gave jee mains and clear for the jee advance after that you have to clear jee advance too with a decent rank or good rank for the upper branches. You can find the detail for jee mains and advance everywhere. Yes there is reservation benefits like i got ECE in IIT BHU at general rank of 5800 due to obc queta whereas you need generally 2k to 2.5k general rank for general queta. The admission process is same as before.
