Course curriculum in Indian education system has always been greatly influenced by British and still is. The curriculum we follow is outdated, incomplete and inefficient. The content is quite rich in sum fields but lacks in others specially in mathematics. Moreover, due to new reforms, we are allowed to choose two electives second year onward, one from humanities other from any other department other than ours. This gave some leniency in otherwise rigid course structure but we lack a lot.

College doesn't provide internships but they invite companies. alsoit is compulsory for students to do the internships so that they can learn the real world applications of their subjects and could get a good placement, many companies visits the campus every year for placements the avearge stipend is around 25-30 thousand per month ,however many big companies also provide 40,000-50,000 rupees per month too for internships...

Most of the times , in most of the branches, every one who wishes to be placed, gets placed. They may get more or less than they desire or deserve, but they usually get placed. Moreover, MHRD ranks IIT BHU as the best institute to get place. There are more than 100 companies that visit for placements for different branches and offers different packages for differently skilled students. Highest package goes more than 50 lakhs every year in cse, it branches.

College organised event time to time,there are many cultural technical fests in the college.

Fees structure is same as other IITs. Its a government institute but the fees is not that low. We have to INR 45,000 per semester as our tuition fees. All the accessories and this sums up to INR 50,950. We have to pay INR 12,000 as advance mess charge which is then deducted as we progress in our semester. The mess charge however varies from institute to institute....

Yes the college provides scholarship to students ,scholarships are given as per the central government guidelines...

Yes i am residing in hostel, the hostel rooms are provided on a sharing basis, the food is not good.

Exam are taken in a semester wise pattern also there are assignments, projects time to time, mid sem exam are also there.

Talking of faculties of my department, most of the new joiners don't fit the standard of IIT. The older once are quite good both in depth of knowledge and experience. I do agree that the new joiners will not have experience but they don't match the experienced in knowledge. This greatly deteriorating the class we used to have.
