Better place to persue B.tech

Institute is very good place to learn new things and explore our talents.faculty here are friendly and it is a ragging free campus,but still there were small issues happened,you can approach your mentor if there is any discomfort with the seniors.

There is no particular entrance exam to get admission in VNIT.We need to clear JEE and my rank was 9556.There's no interview involved in the admission process.I got Civil dept.which is given based on my JEE rank.

Course curriculum of VNIT is one of the best and well planned among other NITs.Our college mainly focuses on practical learning rather than making students to read Books all the time.Cirriculum is made in such a way that students never feel bored of what they are Doing.

It is not mandatory to do our internship through college and we are free to choose company.I have done my internship in ATKINS,Bangalore.My experience was nice.stipend amount ranges between 40,000 and 4,000.There are quite good opportunities to get an internship through college.

Companies like L&T,OFSS,Amazon,SAPLABS,Reliance,CAPGEMINI etc. visits our campus.On an average 80% students gets placed.Average package is 4.5lpa and highest is around 23lpa.More than 100 companies visits our campus for placements and internships.

AROHI is the cultural fest of our college.There are events like SUNBURN,Local Train etc. It also includes Dancing and other singing competitions.There is a event called stand up comedy.This fest all about having fun.AXIS is a technical fest of our college it includes many technical events where we get a chance to disclose our talents.

Course fee is around Rs.80,000 per annum. Hostel fee is 60,000 for every year which includes mess charges.As it is a government funded institute fee is affordable.They provide educational loans to the students who cannot afford.

Students get scholarships from various other sources like MHRD. Our college does not provide any scholarships. Our institute helps students in taking educational loans for those who cannot afford.

There are many events like Department Gathering and Institute Gathering where we get a chance to participate and win.We balance both academic and extracurricular activities.

I am a hostel resident.Hostel environment is quite well.we have triple sharing rooms for first year and double sharing in second year.single rooms for third and final years.As i mentioned above in the fee details Hotel fee is around 60,000 for each year.We have three hotels for girls and five hostels for boys.

We have good alumni structure.alumni team elects a student from the class as a representative and interacts with students through him, they provide good internships and funds the college.

There are two sessionals conducted in a semester.There is a gap of one month between each sessional overall sessional weight age is 30% and end semester is of 60%.Remaining 10% constitutes presentations,projects etc.we have one lab exam in each semester.

Faculty in our college are very much interactive.Their experience in the teaching field is around 15 years.Faculty to student ratio is 1:30 which is quite good ratio.they are helpful towards students in solving problems related to both academics and personal issues.
