Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Mbbs is a 4.5 year academic course and 1 year mandatory internship is there . So in total it is 5.5 year course. Being a first year student three subjects are there anatomy biochemistry and physiology.
Regular timetables of each week are posted by departments which are essentially followed

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed.
Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not.
Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

My sister took mbbs which have always strongly influenced me ,along with me having always a thirst for knowledge
As a ug student I'm not that well prepared for the outside world in the treatment of patients since it is a delicate field and need more years of experience
Usual sem exams alongwith university exams un the final, the exams are moderate to difficult level and need a hardwork to clear

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way.
The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .

And from second yr we have clinical exposure in hospital and direct talk to patients
