Remarks
It's a pretty stressful environment, but it definitely pays out in the end and shapes the students to face the corporate world. The best part about this college is its campus, it is huge and that's the very next thing every student prefers after academics.
Entrance Preview
Admission is based on your 12th grade final exam performance, and a small interviews. You are expected to clear cpt in the first attempt if you are going to get coaching from this college. It is mandatory for one to go for the college coaching only.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm pursuing a B.com and CA integrated course, so the b.com portions are well matched with the CA syllabus. I wouldn't say the coaching here is the best. The teaching is a bit slow, but efficient if attended regularly. The teachers are also not that experienced. The worst part about the curriculum is they expect 75% attendance for b.com as well. But a person doing CA would prefer focusing more on it.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides a few internships through MNCs. As of what i have heard, the average stipend is 10,000-15,000
Placement Experience
Very reputable, large MNCs. Companies like EY, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, etc. There are rigorous selection processes but in the end, it is worthwhile. The college provides us many opportunities and trains us well before heading into the corporate world.
College Events
A lot of events, cultural, sports, etc. Christ University is known for its vibrant festive culture.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Affordable. Around 60,000 INR for b.com, and 18,000-40,000 INR for the CA coaching, based on the level of exam.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels within the campus are quite strict. The campus however is amazing. It is quite large and has a very positive atmosphere.
Exam Structure
Exams are strenuous, practical oriented, but very fun and challenging to answer.
Faculty
Faculty for b.com are alright. Since we're learning most of the subjects in CA, we aren't too dependent on teachers. However, the CA teachers aren't the best. Pursuing a course where the pass percentage is less, one expects the most experienced teachers.
