Remarks
It is a great budding college, the only suggestion i would provide for new comers is that it is advised to visit the college, and talk to the respective department staff, students etc to get a clear picture about the institute.
Entrance Preview
I wrote KCET, and entry into the college through the exam. I chose Biotechnology, out of interest.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is only for interested candidates, and they provide practical knowledge as much as possible, there are a lot of electives, can be checked through the syllabus, major being Forensic Science, Health Diagnostics, Pearl, etc.
Internships Opportunities
Not many internships are provided through college, but exposure to industries helps the student acquire internships on their own, though it is later approved by the college.
Placement Experience
Placements are great, a lot of companies both mass recruiters and core companies come for recruitment's. Companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Bosch, Accenture etc, a package of 6-7 lakhs per annum is provided at minimum. 90% of students get placed every year.
College Events
HABBA, the largest cultural fest of Bangalore is organized by the college, students are the coordinators, It goes on for a month, with core events for a week, there are a lot of competitions held, and provides a great stage to express our talents.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is affordable only if you join through KCET. Management seat is not suggested, donations are over the roof for moderate income families.
Fees and Financial Aid
A few scholarships are awarded by the college based on both merit and cast, I couldn't avail any cause of my cast. The college supports in obtaining a loan greatly, but haven't availed any cause i joined through government seat, and affordable fee.
Campus Life
Every weekend forum activities are conducted by the students of individual departments, providing everyone with opportunities to express and mold our talents, the only obstruction is our stage freight.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is great, but the only problem would be the food.
Alumni/Alumna
As per my knowledge the alumni network of some branches is good, there are frequent meets by the alumni, and talks held to help students about the corporate world, and their expectations form the students.
Exam Structure
They provide enough time between exams to prepare for the next one. The day is not too tiring, and the environment also helps in having a peaceful mind.
Faculty
The faculty is sufficiently qualified, and provide ample knowledge on the subject. They are supportive when ever needed.
