Remarks

East or West, Miranda is the best. Its the best college of the north campus. With its elite reputation, fashion sense, mesmerizing infrastructure and arrogant students. I m proud Mirandian.

Entrance Preview

I passed MSc entrance examination. Esteemed n elitism attached with the name of college made me to choose Miranda House over other colleges. No interview process was there. Love to study human race in time and space made me choose the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course which i chose was the best among the other as it let me to understand human race or us in completely different dimensions. My outlook on human race changed entirely. Yes research initiatives were taken by the institute. Entire class went for field trip for 22 days for practical experience and practical applications of our subject.

Internships Opportunities

I 'know about internship and its technicality as i did not apply for one.

Placement Experience

3

I have no idea about the placement or placement percentage. Our course wasn't included in placement through college.

College Events

4.5

There were numerous Fests organized in the campus. Onli Mirandians were allowed to attend the feast. Fests were organised pretty well and upto the standard. College authorities did contribute and gave their full support.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was very affordable. Fee charged for the course was minimal. It was rupees 10000 per year. Nothing could get better than this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, college do provide number of scholarship. I did not avail any.

Campus Life

5

All study and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Seems college ran on this principle. Ample opportunities were provided to explore the inner talent and utmost importance n support was given to particular student to shine in their particular area of interest.

Hostel Facilities

4

I didn't stay in hostel but experienced hostel life with my bestie who used to stay in UHW. Politics, awful food, bossy seniors and not to forget the cat fights. Hostel life is one of a kind experience to experience once in a lifetime. I am glad i got the glimpse of it.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network of the college is quite weak. Hardly there is any interaction. About the contribution of alumni in the overall development of the college as well as the students is commendable. Various steps have been taken up in this arena.

Exam Structure

Nopes, exams and labs never made me tired at the end of the day. Exams were a litum test of my knowledge and understanding of the subject. Labs were the area where we learnt by playing and interacting with each other. Where learning new things were never a burden.

Faculty

4.5

World class faculties were appointed to teach us. All d faculty members had PhD. and numerous research papers in there name. They continuously made efforts to upgrade and enhance their knowledge according to the present day demand.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is MSC operations research, which is a very vast and deep course. It goes deep into understanding business operations and providing the businesses with best quality steps. There were real life projects which have helped me alot in understanding difficult topics. If there could be more projects it would have been more helpful for studies. The exams level is moderate to difficult, have to study hard to perform good in tests/exams.

Campus placements are offered but I am still in my first year so I have no idea. Students usually go for higher studies (PhD) after master's. Clearing entrances becomes a task. They d offer campus placements it's not that intense as it should be.
