No bad remarks. It's all great. Once you enter the college you can enjoy as well as learn from the people and also, you get various chance to shine.overall it is a good and unforgettable experience to me.
Entrance Preview
I had taken admission in this college though management quota. I had an interview process with Head of the department and they reviewed my marks and admitted me into the college. I have heard from my peer alot and when i suffered and analysed then i went with this choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course had chosen is journalism and it is great. It give us a lot of practical knowledge and the ability to deal with the audience is garnished here. The course curriculum is well designed by the university. I don't know much about any recent research initiatives by the college.
Internships Opportunities
The internships are not provided by the college but they make us search for one (in a good way) giving us the practical knowledge. I didn't got any internship till now so don't know much. There are both paid and unpaid internships available students can find and can join anytime through their own links.
Placement Experience
The placement is great as far as I know. People who do well in the academic front have a lot of opportunities in the placements. I don't know much about the company names that visited the campus. Average package i am unaware .
College Events
A lot of events take place in the college campus providing us with 'n' number of opportunities. There is fest every year which comprises of several events of dance, singing , technical hackathon, coding challenges, sports and many more. The footfall is huge. Students from different colleges participate in the fest events. The facilities are well maintained by the college staff and authorities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is very affordable. 25 K for the first semester and 19 K for the second semester and same for the second year. Overall not a much amount for a middle class family.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarships for the less prevailed girls. The one who needs has to apply by filling a short form. There is loans service also, the college is linked with a firm that provide this loans support. Don't know much in detail about it as I haven't avail it.
Campus Life
Yes, college Organize various seminars and workshops in the campus only. Several debate Nd quiz competitions in different colleges are also brought in by the college. So, overall we get ample opportunities to show out talents. The organization of the events were very well maintained by the college authorities.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, there is hostel facility provided by the college for the outsiders or the seekers. The rooms are in sharing with 2 . The food of hostel is average , sometimes good and sometimes not. PGs are also available in nearby area. The pg rents around 4000-6000 per person.
Alumni/Alumna
No, there is no such platform provided by the college for student alumni interaction. I haven't seen any alumni taking participation in any of college development program
Exam Structure
Yes there were exams once in two weeks so we got enough time to prepare for those exams. So overall it was all chill.
Faculty
They are qualified and have worked for some or the other newspaper or media. During the sessions or lectures they share there experience and guide us in one and another way. They are very interactive with the students and also their standard of teaching is excellent along with the communication skills.
