Entrance Preview
I applied for M.Sc Anthropology and to my surprise cum shock ..stood 2nd in the merit list and that year,my admission changed the course of life in every sense of term.I guess I never wanted it to be any other way.Between the colleges offered for the course..I chose Miranda House happily :)
Course Curriculum Overview
Anthropology is a social science field,inter disciplinary and holistic to the T.Be it human osteology, Archeology,forensic science,Neuroanthropology, Human genetics, society,culture,folklore,visual anthropology..you name it and its there. and yaeh it catered well to the practical mode as well as to the theoritical concepts.
Internships Opportunities
Stipends were awarded for research students for both jrf and non-net holders.
Placement Experience
Yes..many of the students were well placed soon after the completion of the course.

Annual fests,seminars,conferences,cultural and social fests formed an active part of the curriculum.

Definitely.it gave high impetus to the over all development of all the students.be it music,dance,performing arts, street plays, sports.
Hostel Facilities
I used to put up in University girls hostel for women and talking by the personal experience, I had a great time, There were both double rooms and single rooms and the food was the best part of it.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes.. yearly programmes and functions are held as platform for old students alumini to come up and share their experiences from their college days and how much they learnt and grew up from that.
Exam Structure
The work and learning ambience was relaxed and fun.
Faculty
The teachers,professors and the adjoining faulty were quite friendly, easy to approach and inspite of the busy schedule,gave individual attention to the ones who needed.
