Easy -Peazy and Smooth and Totally worth it

The college is good overall. The only other thing that I believe everyone needs to know is that there are no game courts or sports fields inside the college . You'd have to walk a little (to KD Singh Babu stadium 1km from the college) for that. Other than that it's a all positivity. I'd recommend the college.

Well , to enter BCA in National Post Graduate College, you've got to clear the LUACMAT(Lucknow University associated college management admission test) .The test is decent and involved questions regarding computers , your general knowledge(basic stuff) , reasoning. There wasn't any interview process. After you give the exam , you choose the college of your choice which is available ( National Post Graduate College in my case ). I chose BCA simply because of my familiarity with the field of computers. Been always connected with computers since my childhood and was good at programming in school as well ,so....yeah BCA was my thing .

BCA here is actually pretty good . We've a slightly changed and updated syllabus as compared to Lucknow University's and we are taught more programming languages also compared to other colleges in the city having BCA. There is always cool stuff you can do. Our HOD is pretty cool to be honest.

The college itself does not provide an internship ( not that I know of) but our HOD is very helpful regarding this and is always trying to encourage students to join internships and will give a lot of information on that . There are also various people coming for seminars and lectures etc so there is always a good chance that they might bring internship programs with them. However my bad but I have never joined an internship program even though our teachers continuously persuaded us to . It's solely my fault but if you're interested, no need to worry . You will be guided well.

Multiple companies visit our college , so if you are a decent student who even knows basic (but solid)stuff of his subjects , placement is the last thing you need to worry about. Companies like TCS , Wipro , ICICI , British Telecom etc. Packages range between 2-4 lakhs per. Annum for fresh passouts.

If there is one dark spot then you might say it's the lack of technical events organized by the college. However if you are interested the teachers are very helpful in getting information about the various fests or competitions or quizes organized by other colleges.

Being middle class family member I'd say it was pretty affordable. Fees for a six month semester in BCA is almost between 29000 to 30000 every semester for 6 semesters.

The college doesn't provide any loan or scholarship (as far as I know).

There are multiple fests organized and a sports meet is there as well so , yeah of you are talented and actually willing (unlike me) you can participate in a lot of stuff. Not to mention there is KD Singh Babu stadium only at a distance of about 1km from the college so you could easily go there for almost all sports and games like hockey, football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton etc whatever you want.

I am not residing in a hostel although I've visited a couple of friends who do live in hostel. The rooms are clean and there were both single and sharing rooms as far as I remember ( not a 100% sure but most probably) . The food as I have been told was actually ( I am seriously not joking ) good and eatable unlike a lot of hostels as shown in memes these days . I am sorry though but I don't know the hostel fees although it will be available on the college site for sure imo.

The student alumni interaction is honestly really good . In the starting month of your first teachers are a little strict but it's all for the better of students. After teacher get to know you , it's really a smooth ride. I've never had any problems Sharing my stuff with faculty.

There are internal tests every 2 months almost and obviously the semester exam then. The no. of labs per day will vary with semesters but will never be tiring since we only have 3 classes per day so worst case scenario is actually pretty chill.

Faculty of BCA is actually pretty experienced .Most of our teachers pursuing there PhDs . They are fun and interactive .you can always ask them questions easily and they do their best to answer your questions. Standard of teaching is pretty good and unlike a lot of colleges the lecturers and the professors will come to the college and teach regularly.
