Course Curriculum Overview
This was the best course that was available on my rank so I chose this. Faculty are very well qualified and many of them oriented to research. We have two semesters in a year with one mid semester and one endsem exams per semester
Internships Opportunities
Training and placement cell here organises internship drives and college is visited by many large companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft and jpm and many many more too. Almost all high paying companies do visit the college
Placement Experience
Placement in IIT BHU is quite above the average placement stats at other IITs. There is a training and placement cell which organises all the placement and internship drives. The entrepreneurship culture though does have quite a scope of improvement
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is about 100000 per semester and hostel and mess fees 15000 right now. There is a lot of Financial assistance for SC ST category students also to some extent for EWS and OBC students. The fees for them reduces drastically
Campus Life
Annual fest Kashiyatra and technical fest technex are conducted in January and March respectively and also there is a sports fest in October. Hostel Facilities
Hostel is provided for every student. The newly constructed hostels are quite lavish but the old hostels do not have that great facilities and infrastructure. Each hostel has it's own mess in the campus.
Admission
Admission is through the entrance exam JEE advanced. You can attempt this after class 12 board exams for two years at most. Cutoff varies from branch to branch. For electronics was about 2900. Application dates and details can be found on the internet.
