Remarks

College life was full of adventure and there are things yet to happen. Overall it was as one must perceive. For me it didn't lived to my expectation as for what i had imagined a college to be. It was flop. This college has given me a great experience and memory for life which i may never forget. It was a new and different feeling for me. It showed me a new direction of thought and that the life is not all about a single piece of cake. There are variation and difference out of our imagination.

Entrance Preview

I had given entrance exams for persuing the course i am in. But i had never in dreams imagined that i will ever get addmission in this college. I got admitted through the general process of government counselling. There was no interview except for a short introduction about my qualification, nativeplace etc. I am doing this course as per my parents' wish.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good enough for a high standard living and well to do lifestyle. Practical learning was quite average. It should have been far better for a college like it. Personally speaking i am not satisfied with it.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college did provide the internship with delayed stipend. Over here we have a Biometry system for interns and every other day when one misses the attendance his/her stipend for the day is deducted. Internship was well. Average stipend that we got a month was 11000/- only.

Placement Experience

Placement in our senario will be on the basis of how may students get through the PG entrance exam which is yet to be. But in the past the data has been miserable. But we always hope for the best.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure differs for each batch. As for our batch it is somewhat around 5.5 lakhs per annuam. It was affordable for me. But some of my friends studied on loan also.

Faculty

Some of the faculties are highly qualified and experienced. But what i found was that they could have been more interactive and focussed. As i had already mentioned that practical learning is quite poor so this is actually where they lack.

1.You do not have to worry about placement after pursuing MBBS from VIMSAR. there are many vacancies available in state and all over india. 2.after completing 4.5 years of MBBS you have to do a mandatory paid inernship of Rs.42075 then after you will gt the degree to be eligible to fill vacancies for various govt. jobs 3.During internship period you will get an amount of Rs. 42075 (with paid holidays) which is higest paid internship in whole india. 4. nearly every student get a descent job as a doctor, many opt to take drop and prepare for NEET PG examination. 5.I may practise as a government doctor in hospital or take drop to study for NEET PG examination

I got admission in this course by applying in NEET entrance examination. I got good score in my NEET entrance exam and cleared the cutoff set by the college. I got this college in my NEET counselling based on my NEET score. I got this college under all India quota. Candidate who wishes to take admission in this course must appear for NEET entrance examination and must have a valid NEET score. A candidate must at least have 50% in 10+2 in physics, chemistry and biology. After having good NEET score I applied for counseling and in that I got this college.

The college is one of the best medical colleges in our country. The patient inflow really helps in exposure and learning. Teachers strive to teach everything they know to students. The institute gives really comfortable work experience to doctors as well as students.

I had also applied for Sri Jagannath Medical College , Puri. As it's a good college which is couple of hours away from my hometown. But as that college is government it has a high cut-off that I couldn't qualify in order to get admission in it. Then my second preference was Hi-tech Medical College and Hospital. This college is few kms away from my home . So I knew the college quite well. So, i decided to get admission into it . The admission process was quite smooth tho. The Hi-tech Medical College and Hospital bhubaneswar is an ideal college for the students pursuing the course MBBS

The eligibilty of the course is to qualify the NEET entrance exam. Then there will be councilling conducted by the govt. The application form is given only to worthy people not everyone can get it . Application fees is nominal as it's included in admission. There is not application dates as there is no direct admission here. Reservation isn't beneficial it's a curse .
