- Peer group here is motivating everyone is upto something or other
- Competitions here are really good and academically college is good
Dislikes
- Classrooms dont have AC and varanasi is humid.
- Open campus is one thing hated by most of the student
- Hostel rooms need to be refurnished. Campus doesnt have major food outlets
Course Curriculum Overview
Its basically about college or branch so the best thing which fit into this is mechanical and hence i opted for mechanical . The course is having student : faculty ratio of about 15:1. Faculties are well qualified . Exams are just after every 2 months and exams are quite difficult because competition is quite high here
Internships Opportunities
To be very honest internship opportunities are not as expected very few students get paid internships and this is not expected from an IIT , still about 20 % students get internships. average is about 80k per month
Placement Experience
Placements are descent and from 7 semester students are eligible for placements. Major visiting companies include google , microsoft, facebook, JP morgan, goldman sachs , etc . Highest package stood at 1.68crpa . About 80-85 % students get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees per semester including mess would be about 1,30,000 and financial assistance is provided if required . Their are a lot of scholarships for the needy . Jobs typically range from 10lpa to 35 lpa. Average is about 18 lpa.
Campus Life
Life is fine at campus , hostel rooms are not so good . Their are fest like spardha is sports fest , kashiyatra is cultural fest . Classroom dont have ac . Books generals are usually available so its not that difficult to find them

Admission was through jossa councelling Cutoff for mechanical were 6.8k Eligibility crietria was mentioned in jee advance and college brochure. No reservation benefits. Application forms were as usual from nta
