Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed in such a way that a student from Non-CS background can easily cope up with Everything. Faculty here is very supportive and helpful. A lot of effort is put in teaching and learning. We have 3 sessional exams in every semester, out of which you have to mandatorily appear for atleast 2. 6 Semester exams are conducted. Internal viva and practicals are conducted on every sessional exam and external viva and practicals are conducted each semester.

Internships Opportunities

The students placement cell ties up with companies providing internships and training and informs the studnets about it. Eg. IBM, Birlasoft. The average period for trainings is 4-6 weeks which can be both online/offline. With a live project alloted.

Placement Experience

Campus Placement starts around July, with CRT (campus recruitment training) classes provided by the college, which includes Reasoning, Aptitude and English. The average package for BCA is 3-4 LPA. Companies visited include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Byjus, CodeQuotient etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees was 56000, we have to pay it in installments, 30000 1st installment, ,26000 second installment. You can either take the merit scholarship provided by college, or you can go for government scholarship, you can't avail both of them at the same time. The scholarship is applied on the second installment.

Campus Life

3 major events are held every year i.e. Annual function, annual sports day and founder's day. Apart from these many other events like youth parliament, amrit mahotsav etc are held, which gives students of all the years a great opportunity to showcase their skills and talents as well as an opportunity to coordinate and be a part of the decision making process.

Admission

Students from any background that includes maths, can apply for BCA. Application form and everything can be found online as well as from the college itself. The time when I applied, my enterance test was online, The level of the enterance test was easy. After that a PI round was conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

Not my favourite, but a decent college

if I say that, why did I choose this college is not that because of I want to do the course, but because of my fashion, that's what I had in my mind, I was always drive with the fact that what computers to how they do how they work and what are the what is the things that make a computer work smoothly so of this course is not a very hi-fi course, but not Course which do not offer even a placement. OBC is a good course it is it is priority. It is My in heart, which told me to take the course and to do good in the future.
