Course Curriculum Overview
In IIT BHu exams are conducted twice in one semester, midsem and endsem, generally midsem have 30% weightage and 50% is the weightage of endsem and the rest 20% is internal assesment an assingment and lab work combined. But the marks disrtribution is also dependend on courses and thyeir particular tipical structure.Faculty is good and supportive and we have TAs for every course to help us in our doubts and solve question.
Internships Opportunities
There is very good and lagre number of interships for circuital branches.But for core branches you have to learn programming language and then also the ratio is low. Highest internship is of of Rs. 450000 and average is around Rs. 160000.
Placement Experience
campus placements are good giving a average of 31 lakh of all the courses combined. placements are around 85%. If someone does not get a campus placement then he can also apply for off-campus placements in which IIT BHU degree helps a lot plus you also get very high and good alumni network rto get youn a referral and off-campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Course Fees is Rs.106350 per semester, but in first semester there is hte fees is more.For students whose family income is income is less than Rs. 5 Lakh the course fees is RS 39689 pes semester, for those students whose family income is less than Rs. 1 Lakh there is no tuition fees , but hostel fees is same for all which is Rs.7500 and Rs. 15000 Mess Fees which is also same for all. There are many scholarships provided by the institute and government to support students, and there are loans also provided to the students also at the day oif registeration.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is not that good ,hostel rooms is smaal and in first year 3 people are accomodated in one small room.Only second year's hostel is big and newly build, classrooms are big but not very well maintained. clubs are very good and college have very good club culture, seniors are very suppoortive. Here clubs are for all types of co-curriculart activities such as programming, dance ,literature, acting, reading etc.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are cramped, hosing 3 students in small space making it unhygienic and unhealthy. The bathrooms are consistently dirty,posing healthb concerns for residents. The hostel staff's strict demeaanor adds unneccesary stress to an already challenging living situation.
Admission
For admission you have to clear JEE advanced in which last year's cutoff was CRL 656 to around 20000.For sitting for JEE Advanced you haver to first clearb JEE Mains in which last year cutoff was around 90 percentile and have to get 75% in 12th CBSE Boards.
