My college journey

Almost every other thing here is good. It's good to be in this college but the only thing that bothers me is the crowd, sometimes it feels like a heavily crowded place.

There was the JEE MAINS entrance exam i appeared for. As it was the mandatory exam for the engineering admission seekers. I landed up here, as few of my friends are at sinhgad's sister branches. They told me about the college. There was any interview taken. My realm & interest made me chose the course I'm currently pursuing.

The course is pretty good. Well designed considering the proper balance between theory & practical learning. The course focuses well on practicals, However a more practical sessions would have been a perfect thing. There are some of the research initiatives taken in the college by PGs n UG students as well.

No the college isn't involved much in these case. I haven't heard it yet that the college provides internship. I haven't done any yet. The experience at the internship must be surely amazing. I'll get it done shortly.

The placement scenario is quite good or can be said mediocre. The percentage students placed annually is pretty good. About 60-70% students are placed yearly, this is because the sinhagad students can appear for the interview in any of the sister branches. The mass recruiters are Accenture, Cognizant and Infosys, etc. The average package is around 4 LPA.

There is the cultural program held every year named"SINHAGAD KARANDAK". It is just a huge program. In this, there are different DJs are called to perform. The entry is done with the paid pass to every one. The average footfall must be around 10k. These group of institutions is the only one in Pune who calls foreign DJs to perform over here. So from this it's pretty clear that the contribution by the college is astonishing.

The College is a bit affordable. The fee for a middle class boy is a quite high. But as the other colleges are compared our fees is somewhat less than them. But we need to consider this as well that along with the passing time, everything is turning expensive. However I have managed.

I actually don't know much about the loan facilities but yes scholarships are available but they're not provided by the college, it's from the government. It is according to the category of the students. I do avail one of the scholarship.

The college is extremely good at academics as well as extracurricular too. There are a lot of events that have been organized in our college like recently there was the "Dandiya night". Many such events are organised for the students to make them feel like participating & to show there talent. We get enough opportunities for this.

No I wasn't residing at the hostel. But yesterday l yes there is the hostel provided by the college. As there are some students in the college who are from abroad so the institute has provided a different Hostel for the Indian & non-Indian students. There rooms at sharing. No don't know about the PGs. The food quality is good.

As we are a newly established college . I haven't heard anything like alumni network & the interaction of alumni with the students. However the sister institutes might be having this. The alumni surely contributed in the overall development of students with college.

The exams are quite frequently held. We need to manage this as well. The labs are held regularly. We are the one getting tired after these sessions. The exams are held under strict observations. malpractices are strictly prohibited.

The faculties here are mediocre at teaching. However the teaching standard isn't compromised. They makes use of different teaching aids for the better understanding is the students. The teachers are quite & polite at the interactions. However they aren't much friendly. The standard is teaching is pretty good.
