Theory Faculty are quite good and some are strict but All lab faculty are strict and they have good knowledge of machine .and assistant professor are supporting in nature . Faculty are mtech , PhD graduates from iits nits and other reputable universities. Teaching method is not too good but they will help you when you need them . Faculty/students ratio are approximately 2/120 for theory leactur but 7/120 for labs Question asked in exam are from book and notes they suggest . No need to study appart from notes and books suggested .difficulty of exam depend upon students and subject .

American express , jp Morgan, Microsoft are the main and many more companies are providing on campus placement. Google banned our college so they do not visit . Near about 65 to 85 percent students are placed including core and tech . In 5th sem interview are taken for internship some students get ppo also. And during 8th sem students get their final placement. For eligibility for interview 7.5 cg is required. Pec is tier 1 college so package offered is quite good . Medial for electrical for this was 14lpa and for cse was 16 lpa . I am in electrical but I dream to be placed in IT company.

In annual fest of our college called pecfest where singers like guru randhawa , hardy Sandhu perform which approx gather 1000 footfall which is conducted in between August November. There no fixed month or date for pecfest. There are two libraries central libraries and book bank . Central libraries have 2 reading hall with total capacity of 150 students Central libraries provide book for 15 days And book bank provide book for 4 months for hole semester. You can ask for needed book and these libraries have variety of book . There 6 AC and 8 ceiling fan and 32 tube and led lights with capacity of 100+students which is quite impressive . There are many extra curricular activities held by cell and club in every month and there is also annual sports competition where any branch/yr student can participate. Some clubs and cells are peb for dancing , robotics , ieee, etc

Double room for first yrs student . Hostel condition for first and second yr student is not good . There is 1 ceiling fan 1 tubelight 1 table chair and 1 iron bed in room . There is common room which have games like snooker , table tennis chess and fuseball. Menu is too good but quality of food is too bad for 1 and 2 yr student . Quality of food is good for 3 and 4 yr student Hostel. Registration process is easy requirement 2 passport sized photo 12&10 marksheet Hostel fee through bank draft Adhar card Chandigarh is expensive and cost of pg in nearby is about 10000 per month which ultimately cost same as Hostel in some case . Some pgs are avaliable in nayagao near our college in Chandigarh.

I got pec through jee mains I had secured 96 percentile in jee main and got electrical branch in 4 round of counselling. Admission possible through jee main and sports , army and sc/st quotas are applicable . Too much fee and scholarship only given to st/sc and some students having some special financial conditions in the form half fee waiver. Students with bpl card get full fee waiver . Wait till last round and aerospace engineering is good in this college .
