Life at IIT BHU

As mechanical engineering is one of the oldest branch so there are many opprtinities to pusue your carrier in this department.strength of my class is around 179 in which nearly 140 are boys.so professor here are highly qualified and teaches very well.many of my teachers completed thier studies in forign countries.so there will two exams held named mid sem and end sem.so is you follow teacher you can pass exams very easily.

the top companies visited are IBM ,google ,microsoft ,paypal, oracle so on and there were 387 ppo offered this year .with avg stipend 80k.interenships takes place at the end of the second year so that students can explore.

By end of VIth semester student is elligible for placement,top companies like google,microsoft mahendra,....etc visited campus.highest package offered was 1.68cr and lowest 7L and avg 23L.80-85% students are placed every year.my plan is to crack placement.

Fees here is around 2.5L per annum to a genearl candidate and 43k for sc st and students whos family income is less than 1L.and 1.4L whos family income is less than 5L.and many scholarship are provided to students based on marit list performed in one semester.so as of now i am i first year so internship takes place at the end of IVth sem.

there are thee major fests held in iit bhu named kashiyatra(jan) , sparda(september), technex(feb).and there is library which provides you all kind of books.there are three lucture hall anmed LT 1,2,3.so there are around 19 sports and 20 club which helps student to explore in interesterd field

fresher are alloted to aryabatta house in which 1 room is shared between 3.mess provids one of the best food which includes 3 meal a day.so registration has to be done at the begining of the collage.

There two exams held named jee mains and jee advanced where mains is qualifying exam for advance.and advance exam gives you opportinity to study in IITs.So cut off for my course was around 6.7k rank in jee advanced gen.NTA will notify the dates of exams and last date to apply at the month of december.so application fees is 1000 for gen and obc boys,800 to girls and sc,st.so reservation plays crusial role in this exam if you have any do apply it.
