Course Curriculum Overview

I chosen this course because l became an engineer in computer science. The college is the best i have ever seen. There are so many facility. Available computer and college campus is awesome well farnished building and the main part is professor who are really so good in teaching. College hosting many events. And i really happy and also proud to a student of our college.

Placement Experience

After 7the sem students are eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies visited our college. Highest package is above 16 lakh per annum average package is above 6 lakh. 90 % to 95 %students get placement. Definitely I will go for company for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't no what others thinks about college fees. I think college fees is costly. Honestly the scholarship opportunities are really so good many students are selected for scholarship.(who are Applied) . Campus job is really good 99% student got placed. And this is very good news for students as well as for college.

Campus Life

They are conducted tech fest and also coding related quiz, games etc. They are conducted such programs in the month of february. Our college are so good in sports many students are participated in sports it also held in last week of february. There are also social group that is whatapp, Instagram etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are so good. Rooms are really clean all time . If you want attach bathroom you can. Sufficient sunlight in room. Meal is really good . Nothing to say about this. In a week they gave us chicken in Wednesday and sunday rest off days they gave fish, dal and mix veg. If you are a vegetarian no problem for this. You can eat veg. Near newtown.

Hostel Fee: INR 84000 per year

Admission

I took admission through the entrance exam called wbjee . Yes I took entrance exam. The application form in official wbjee website. Application fees i guess it 500 rupees. Application dates are released in January or December and. I don't know about any reservation benefits.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
