Course Curriculum Overview
I have a lot of interest in biotechnology so I opt this stream. Faculty and students ratio is about 1:12 All facilities are qualified and some are para teachers. Internals are timely taken and semester is easy also and timely taken.
Placement Experience
6th semester students are eligible for placement. Companies like Microsoft, cognizant and TCS etc visit here. Highest package is around 10 lpa and average package is 4-5 lpa . Over 85% students get placed. I want to join a pharmacy company after my BTech.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike happen sometimes and it's a big problem of our college. The cost of study for 4 year is 6.5lacs. West Bengal student get government scholarship called SVMCM scholarship which is 60k/year . NSP is also a scholarship from central government.
Campus Life
The campus is small and often fest happens here in which many celebrities are also involved. We have a central library for books and journals. There are many clubs for extra curricular activities. Social groups are also linked with our college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room is 3 bed and full hostel is very clean with wifi facilities. They give 3 time meal with veg and non veg facilities. Hostel is affordable which will cost 7k/months including all facilities. Hostel is far from the college.
Admission
Eligibility -12th pass with science with 60% Application - wbjee.nic.in fees-500 rupees My college takes lots of direct admission and fees is also very high so government should reserve seat for general meritorious students.
