I want to do job in the IT sector. Faculty student ratio is 30:1 Every faculty is highly educated and passed from different famous universities. Their teachings technique is very unique. There are two semesters exam in every year. An each semester have 4 internal exams

Class Size: 190Course Fees: INR 437000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Without hostel the fees is 4,37,000. With hostel the fees wil be 6,37,000. There will no scholarship from the college but you can receive Swami Vivekananda scholarship and you will be give the fees from student credit card

Campus Life

Spandan is the annual fest and resonance will be the tech fest . All of it will be on May. There wil be a huge amount of books in the Library. Various types of sports competition are held here . Annual sports meet called athleema also in January.

Admission

Eligibility is you have to give wbjee or jee main . The cut-off for CSE branch is 36,000. You will find all information in the official website and main college campus at Kolaghat. There no reservations is available. There is no improvement.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
